Windows repairs.
Hardware and software help.

A broken screen, a battery that won’t last, or a computer that won’t start? Tell us what’s happening and which computer you have.

What needs attention?

Screens, batteries, startup and performance.

Screen damage

A cracked screen, lines on the display or a blank screen can need different checks. The full model details and service tag help us identify the right panel and whether a repair is suitable.

Ask about screen damage

Battery and charging

We replace batteries in suitable conventional laptops. If the laptop isn’t charging properly, the fault may be with the charger, charging port or other hardware, so replacing the battery is not always the answer.

Ask about battery and charging

Won’t start

Tell us whether the computer powers on and what appears on screen. If important files are not backed up, mention that before any reinstall is considered.

Ask about startup trouble

Slow or unreliable

Diagnosis can help distinguish a Windows problem from a storage or hardware fault. Once we’ve checked the computer, compatible memory or SSD upgrades may be an option.

Ask about performance

How the computer is built matters.

Microsoft Surface software repairs

We offer software repairs for Microsoft Surface devices. We don’t carry out Surface hardware repairs, including screen or battery replacement.

Battery replacement for other tablet-style computers and unusually bonded designs is outside our usual service. Some specialist screen and board repairs may need a referral.

About your computer

Tell us what you know.

A model or service tag is helpful. You do not need to identify a replacement part yourself.

How diagnosis works
Need your files moved or assessed?

Upgrades and servicing.

SSD and storage upgrades

Running out of space or dealing with a worn drive? We can discuss compatible storage, installation and any data transfer needed.

Ask about storage

Cooling system service

If your computer is getting hot or has dust building up inside, we can check whether it can be serviced and what work it needs. Internal cleaning and thermal servicing are available for suitable devices.

Ask about cooling

Memory and selected GPU installs

Customer-supplied memory and some graphics cards can be installed after compatibility and suitability checks. Other customer-supplied parts are accepted only in limited circumstances.

Check your proposed upgrade

Windows repair and reinstall

Startup trouble or a damaged Windows installation may need software work. Before a reset or reinstall, we’ll discuss your files and agree on what work to do.

Finding your Windows computer’s model

Look for the model and serial or service tag on the case or underside of the laptop. A product number may help identify the exact configuration. You can start an enquiry without these details; we’ll help confirm what is needed.

A few useful answers

Can you assemble parts I’ve already bought?

Absolutely. If you’ve purchased the components for your new PC, we can check they’re compatible, assemble everything and get it up and running. Just send us your parts list first.

Do you build computers for businesses?

We supply and set up business-class computers from brands such as Dell, HP and Lenovo. We also build custom gaming PCs and high-performance workstations to suit specific requirements.

Can I post my laptop to you?

Yes! We accept mail-in laptop repairs from across Australia. Contact us before sending your laptop so we can confirm the repair and arrange shipping.

Request an estimate

Ask about your Windows computer.

Tell us what you need help with. Include the model if you know it; you can start without it.
